Through clear and consistent behavioural expectations, we foster a positive learning environment where all students can flourish, grow and reach their full potential.
- A consistent, whole-school approach to recognising, reinforcing and encouraging positive and appropriate behaviours is embraced by all staff and embedded in our Core Values of Respect, Compassion, Justice and Service.
- Essential life and social skills are explicitly taught in the classroom and shared with families, providing opportunities for parents and carers to reinforce and practise these skills at home.
- As part of our commitment to fostering positive relationships and supporting student wellbeing, St Rose implements the URSTRONG Friendship Program as a whole-school approach to social and emotional learning. URSTRONG equips students with the skills, language and strategies they need to build, maintain and navigate healthy friendships and positive relationships, helping them develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of belonging.
- School Counsellor support is available, as directed by the principal, to provide additional pastoral care and wellbeing support for students when needed.
