The senior years at St Rose are a time of growth and opportunity. As students’ journey through Years 4 to 6, they are encouraged to grow not only academically, but also emotionally, socially and spiritually. It is a time when character is shaped, confidence is strengthened and leadership comes to life.

As part of their leadership responsibilities, Year 6 Leaders participate in the Buddy Program, where they serve as positive role models for their Kindergarten Buddies and other new students. The program fosters connection and belonging while supporting our youngest students to make a smooth and confident transition into school.

Participation in these teams provides students with valuable leadership experience and an apprenticeship in leadership, preparing them to take on formal leadership roles in Year 6.
Student Representative Council (SRC) and Mini Vinnies
Each class from Kindergarten to Year 4 elects representatives to the Student Representative Council (SRC), giving students a voice in shaping school decisions and contributing to their school community. Students also elect representatives to Mini Vinnies, where they lead and support social justice initiatives that make a positive difference in the lives of others.
